Description

Glycerin – The skin-replenishing

Glycerin helps to establish normal healthy balance and hydration, improving the skin barrier function. It is a skin-replenishing and skin-restoring ingredient, contributing to defend skin against dryness. Glycerin also prevents skin irritation during the cleansing process, improving the skin resilience and youthful look.

Xylitol – The skin barrier protector

As shown by research, xylitol hydrates and helps strengthen the skin barrier by increasing natural hydration and stimulating the production of hyaluronic acid and ceramides on the skin. Xylitol is a source of galactooligosaccharides, which are responsible for its prebiotic ability, allowing a positive effect on skin microbial growth.

Zinc PCA – The essential mineral

Recent research indicates the fantastic role of zinc in preventing premature aging of the skin, as well as in restricting the development of pathogenic microorganisms on the skin, making it both anti-ageing and anti-inflamatory in various skin conditions (rosacea, eczema, psoriasis and acne). Zinc PCA is the synergy of two components – Zinc and L-PCA. It acts as a key molecule that stimulates epidermal differentiation and strengthens the skin barrier function.

Jojoba oil – The hydration booster

The Jojoba plant produces wax esters identical to the oil produced naturally by skin. Naturally rich in Vitamins A, D and E, this gentle oil works to regenerate skin cells. It balances oily skin, soothes sensitive skin, hydrates dry skin and can even be used on acne and breakouts. Jojoba oil has long been used as an anti-inflammatory for dry, itchy or sensitive skin. It moisturizes while providing the skin with a nutrient rich substance to soothe.
