Colloidal Oatmeal – The soothing and antioxidant

The “holy grail” ingredient for dry, sensitive skin that contains potent antioxidants. A high concentration of beta-glucan and starches in colloidal oatmeal also mean it has water-binding properties and is an effective skin protectant and soothing agent. The United States Food & Drug Administration (FDA) categorizes colloidal oatmeal as a skin protectant, allowing it to be listed as an active ingredient on skincare products.  We use an advanced colloidal oatmeal with proven efficacy on:

  • Reducing redness and skin irritation to soothe and relieve skin disorders
  • Proven anti-aging and reparative properties over all skin types due to typical beta glucan content of 5-6%
  • Acting as a skin protectant. Effectively forms a physical barrier on the surface of skin to reduce epidermal water loss and preserving the skin barrier
Glyceryl Glucoside – The cell energizer

Glyceryl glucoside is a multipurpose, anti-aging, and cell-boosting active ingredient targeting tired, stressed or mature skin. Research shows that it increases skin elasticity, moisturizes, helps to reduce symptoms like itching, burning, tightness, tingling, and feeling of dryness. Proven efficacy on:

Research shows that oat oil has vitamin E and lipids which help to soften, hydrate and protect skin. Due to the rich polar lipid content, it locks in moisture levels by forming a physical barrier to avoid trans-epidermal water loss, preventing further drying. We use a premium oat oil, with high ceramide content. Proven efficacy on:

  • Proven to be non-comedogenic and reducing papules, blackheads and lesions
  • Powerful antioxidants including vitamin E
  • Contains lipids found in the outer layer of the skin
Shea Butter – The rich in vitamins A and E

Shea butter has a long history of traditional use and is well known for its moisturizing, antiaging and antioxidant properties.  In its complex composition allantoin, vitamins E, A and D are also found. It is generally regarded as having similar anti-aging properties to green tea. It is deeply hydrating, and purported to possess antimicrobial properties as well.

Squalane – The naturally present in skin

Squalane is a natural component of skin oil. It is a great moisturizer, and an ally for sensitive skin, as it helps to restore the protective barrier of the epidermis, reducing trans-epidermal water loss and restoring the skin suppleness and flexibility. This can result in healthier-looking skin and hair and help improve a variety of skin conditions, ranging from acne to eczema. Our squalene is of plant origin, made from a renewable raw material, the olive.
